Creating a Cozy & Aesthetic Fall Entryway Tablescape
It’s never too early to decorate your space for the Fall!
My favorite thing to do each season in my home is decorate my entryway table! It’s the first thing that I see when I walk in my space and I like to make sure that the decor is the perfect mix of cozy and functional, which just happens to be the ideal recipe for fall decor that blends seamlessly with the rest of your homes’ aesthetic!
Each year, I try to switch up my decor just a bit to keep it fresh and exciting, not only for me, but for family and friends that visit during the season! I don’t know about you, but I have been absolutely loving everything Pottery Barn lately (although my wallet does not) and I’ve probably taken at least three trips there in the last few weeks. I couldn’t resist splurging on a few pieces this year including the iconic Gus the Ghost pillow, which Pottery Barn brought back from last season, but with a fun new twist this year 🎃
Their Fall floorscape was a huge inspiration to me as I decorated my table this year and I think I did them justice! One thing to remember when decorating any space is to diversify the type of decor you’re using. While there are seven (that’s right, seven!) pumpkins featured on my tablescape, they are all of different mediums! We have the terracotta pumpkins of different sizes and shapes on both levels of the entryway table, as well as the pumpkin and vanilla candle you can see flickering throughout my TikTok video featured here.
Of course it’s also important to throw in different textures as well which gives you the perfect opportunity to cozy up the space with some festive pillows or a cozy throw blanket like I did! I searched high and low for the Rachel Zoe White Ghost blanket at every Homegoods within 50 miles of my home and had 0 luck. I ended up treating my self and buying one online that was being sold for double the price (oof, I know) but I just had to have it! It fits perfectly in my wicker basket on the bottom shelf and it’s easy to pull out when I want to snuggle up on the couch with my puppy Frankie and boyfriend Josh.
Overall, I was super happy with how everything came together. For me, the best part of decorating is the treasure hunt for the perfect items that fit the vision that I have swirling around in my head. But for you, the most important part of decorating a space is knowing that you’ll never do it wrong- you just have to make sure your decorations feel like home and bring you that sense of joy and magic that we all chase during the best season of all- fall 🍂
